When I got the new MacBook Neo, I copied the entire music library folder onto an external hard drive, then moved it onto the new computer.

Now I have a few songs that just do not play. The files should be fine since they were fine on the old computer. They were purchased on the iTunes Store. Some will play, some just don't--I'll click "play" or double click on the song and they do nothing, just skipping to whatever is next on the list.

My first hunch is this has to do with authorizing a computer, but I'm wondering if there's yet another issue at stake.

I found the issue--somehow I had 5 authorized computers. I guess I never deauthorized the old ones when I got rid of them, as I have had three MacBook Airs and a MacBook Pro that I've bought and sold/traded over the last 15 years...assuming the others are the 2007 MacBook and iMac G4 that I still have in my possession.
