I've been exploring the idea of selling my 4GB iPhone on eBay that I bought on iDay witht the hopes of taking a small financial hit and then going and buying a new 8GB model. I figure there must still be someone out there who needs to obtain the phone other than through Apple/AT&T to unlock and use on their own GSM network. My $100 early-adopter credit makes the idea sound that much better to me.

Do any of you see any problems with doing this that I am potentially overlooking? It's my understanding that my ATT contract would be restarted to a new 2-year agreement. You're kind input is greatly appreciated.

You might get around $225.00 - $250.00 for it depending on condition etc. Apple has the refurbs available for $299.00.

4GIG models for $299.00 at apple store are not refurbished.
Brand new marked as inventory clearance.

There are no refurb 4GIG ones. Only 8GIG for $349

Really, on Macnn.com's main page this afternoon/evening they have an article stating exactly what I stated originally.
