I'm on the website version. Installed as usual. To my understanding, Mac App Store versions of any software requesting hardware details are somewhat limited.

They have a helper app that takes care of the MAS limitations. Looks like they're scrambling a bit to get the 7,1 supported in general. I got to their support and they said they are working on support for the new Mac Pros but don't currently have an ETA on when that will be available.

Bjango sometimes silently updates iStat Menus without changing the version number. There’s a version of 6.40 which shows more detail on the 16” MBP than the earlier version of 6.40. You might make sure you have the latest build from the website, even if the updater doesn’t report that you need to update.

Mine happens to be from the Mac App Store so I'll just have to wait for an update to get published there but thank you.

FYI, Tunabelly Software is holding a 50% off sale on TG Pro, it's now only $10 for what I presume is a limited time.. bought it (the website version) and it is doing a much better job than Macs Fan Control ever did.

At $10 it's 4.95 less than Macs Fan Control Pro.
