iStat Menus

Has anyone bought it? Is it worth it or should I just stick to iStat pro?

There's not much that iStat Menus does that iStat Pro doesn't.

If you want the menu deal without the price, you can probably still find a download of version 2.0 out there, then turn off auto updates. That's what I did, since it all but forced me to upgrade, then told me I owed money. I decided it wasn't worth the price, but it was worth the 5 minutes or so it took to find

iStat Pro works fine for me. However, I'm glad you like iStat Menus.

Given that the dev team had given this app out free to lord knows how many years and never once expected payment I gladly handed them $20 for a family license for all 3 of my machines. While I wish this included an app for my iPad and iPhone, I was happy to pay. iStat menus is the first app all my Macs get before anything.

or you could just get the fairly attractive atMonitor for free.

I paid for iStat a long time ago, but atMonitor looks pretty good at first glance.
