I have just recently downloaded the iStat app and although it does work, the side buttons are unresponsive and I can not get the iPhone message to disappear. Any suggestions?

Have you Forced Quit the app and/or restarted your computer and then tried it?

Yes, I have tried restarting my computer and reinstalling it.

Try doing a manual uninstall of the app by following these directions:

Best way to FULLY DELETE a program

Then reinstall it and see if it works.

Is this the Dashboard widget? The widget is really unreliable and buggy in my experience, I suggest using the toolbar instead.

I installed the toolbar, but that isn't working properly either. When I turn one of the functions on, it automatically turns itself off a couple second later.

I recommend you talk to the developer or open a thread on their official forums.
