Makes me think that Apple stopped manufacturing the gsm only version and now its just a "here is a phone what's your provider?" Much better way to do business imo

While my local Apple stores only show the sim free as available, quite a few stores in the neighboring states show AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon models in stock.

Just checked istocknow myself and it showed the carrier versions in stock (as well as SIM-free) just fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Although there looks to be stock of SIM-free iPhone 7s, there are zero SIM-free iPhone 7+s available.

I don't check every day, but when I have checked I've NEVER seen a 7+ in stock at any of the 3 Apple stores in Oregon.
