Well, it has to be soon right. I just priced the Sony phone that they showed off. 699$ Damn, they think a lot of it don't they. That is crazy!

I want Bluetooth, and the latest tech, but that isn't worth it. I am looking forward to the iPod sync more than anything.

You can get that phone from $50-$200 with activation.

Check AT&T, Amazon, T-Mobile

I just ordered mine two days ago from Amazon (w/T-mobile service), and my ship date is Oct. 3. Not sure why yours would take so long.

The SonyEricsson T68i, pictured on Apple's iSync page? I purchased that phone a week ago (and a 2-year AT&T plan----$99/mo for unlimited hours, anytime) in anticipation for Bluetooth sync to OS X. It was $175 with the AT&T deal, and I get $50 off that in rebate. Both T-Mobile and Cingular support that phone and they are $199 and $250 (not sure which is which) with their deals. You're not going to need to pay reatail for that phone.

blakespot

Great phone, BTW, with incredible battery life.

Sorry for the double post.
Alex, I inquired Amazon about this because i saw the updated estimate date as 1-2 weeks on amzaon.com but my orderstatus still says Oct 21-Nov 27 ..here is the reply.. I hope i will get it soon

"T-Mobile has announced that the current release date for the Sony
Ericsson T68i is the first part of October. As soon as we have a
confirmed date, we will update the phone's listing on our web site.

If you have already placed an order for this phone, rest assured that
your order remains open. When the Sony Ericsson T68i is released, we
will ship your phone as soon as possible, and we will send you an e-
mail to confirm that it has been shipped.

I know that iSync will enable iCal to sync with a Palm, but will it also be able to sync with Jaguar's Address Book?

T68 cool and functional, but...

it shall be "sync it all !!!", or won't be worth it .

I also have the T68i and it works quite well with the Mac - I actually had been waiting years for a phone like this. I CAN FINALLY GET RID OF THAT HIDIOUS PIECE OF EQUIPMENT CALLED PALM.
And I am really happy. However, I think those considering to buy one of these phone should note that it is very slow. Not that for us Mac users speed is always so important (ehehee) but I am sure very shortly there will be something like the dual processor T68.

T68i?

What other services can you use this phone with? I checked T-mobile, and they don't offer coverage in my area (and the phone only costs $50 on amazon for T-mobile). I checked AT&T wireless and can't find the phone on their site (anyone have a link on where I could get this phone for AT&T wireless?)

Any other services where I could use this phone? Our cell phone needs replaced and I've been trying to find something that works with iSync. The closest I have found is the Kyocera 6035, but nobody seems to know if it'll work with iSync (I'm guessing it should), and I really don't need a palm - a bluetooth enabled phone makes much more sense for me.

The services in my area include Sprint PCS, Alltel, Verison, and it appears AT&T wireless, and I'm not sure what else. I do know T-Mobile and cingular don't reach our town.

Slow how? Slow syncing? Slow menu operation? I'm curious because I just ordered one (so long sprint).

t68i/amazon/tmobile

I just came across the deal from Amazon for the t68i and tmobile. I was wondering if this is a good idea. I know that I can get the phone for 50 bucks, but hows the service and what is really included in the service? I need something now that iSync is out.

umm, you could have just edited it.

I was gonna say that too, but he is kinda a newbie. That's why I lurked for so long before posting, then took it slow. To get my feel for the place. Learn the tricks.

Ah well. No harm, no foul. It's the only way to learn. Most people won't hold misspelling against you.

Most people.
