i have a 27 inch , 2.8 i7 , 12 gb ram ,1TB hard drive imac early 2010 model, i usually upgrade my computer , selling the old one every time there is an refresh. how ever i didn't upgrade my 2010 imac with the new imac 2011.

my question is should i wait ? is next refresh any time soon? what is the big different between 2010 and 2011 imacs? sorry i am not a technical person.
ill be buying from apple referb store.

Wait. Current iMac offers only ~15% GPU upgrade, that's all. It's definitely not worth it. 2011 iMac will likely offer noticeably faster CPU (see Core i7-2600K reviews) and a small bump in GPU as well. However, I wouldn't upgrade to 2011 iMac unless you need more speed. Next refresh is likely in Q2 2011, maybe April-May

If you do upgrade, then you will be one of the elite few who will be able to post in whatever thread is created to make those few people feel special. Just like the i7 2.9ghz thread here on Macrumors.

I am waiting for my i5 to arrive from refurb store, and the only thing that bothers me is that I won't be able to post in that thread. :D:D
