It is ok to always use integrated right?

I have Virtualbox on my rMBP. It always uses the discrete gfx card.

If I enable only the integrated with gfxcardstatus before launching the app, it seems to work ok.

This won't be bad at all for my laptop right? Like it won't overwork it or anything?

Just want to be sure.

No. Quite the opposite in fact, it will keep it cooler which is good for just about any component.

If you're satisfied with the performance then stick with the integrated GPU.

I just would prefer the battery life of integrated when I'm using windows but I wanted to be sure. Thanks everyone!
