It safe mode, again... Help needed

Ok so my phone keeps going into safe mode randomly, as in when I hang up from a call, or a bitesms text comes up and i close out of it. I can just hard restart my phone and it will be back to jail broken. It happens about every 2-3 days. I'm wondering what I have that could be causing this? This is what I have installed in cydia...

Activator
Airplane SBSettings
Alarm HD

App sync for 4.0+
apt 0.7 HTTPS method

Better white icon set

Ok and under winter board the only things I have checked are...

Better white icon labels
Activate Mystrings
Celeste HD
Deadmau5 theme
Alarm HD
Black signal Bars reversed
Black navigation bars

So what can I delete, or what should I delete, are any of these things downloaded messing each other up? causing some kind of problem to cause my phone to go into safe mode often? Any help is greatly appreciated. I was late to work one day because my phone went into safe mode when I was sleeping and it deleted my alarm! Thank you.
 
scary, but...happening here too. hard to pinpoint what it is...
didn't happen to me in 4.2.1, but in 4.3.2... often.

i thought maybe springtomize (which i use for so many things), but...
you don't have that.

i also use (in common with your list):
activator
bitesms
sbsettings
barrel
3D board...

am gonna try disabling, say...3dboard, then barrel, and will report back...

anyone else?

hmm also getting some crashing similar to you 2

update: just uninstalled barrel I have noticed reboot time is allot faster another problem I have noticed.

Cydia did some updates today.

Have no idea what they were.

Now, after unlocking my iPhone, it crashes.

Plus, when I install/uninstall programs, I get a red text error.

Tried removing programs from Cydia but nothing helped.

Tomorrow I am going to make my first attempt at SSH'ing
into my iPhone and reinstalling Cydia.

Everyonce in a while when using BiteSMS quick reply, it will crash into the weird IT SAFE MODE.

I only have these installed on 4.3.3

BiteSMS
LockInfo
SBSettings
CyDelete
TetherMe
 
I stopped using Graviboard because it made it crash into safe mode literally every time I used it, I'm on 4.3.3. I stopped using 3D board because to me it seems fairly flawed, such as when I'm laying in bed. I find it almost annoying. I am going to just delete it, even though I just paid for it. Maybe it is barrel? I really like barrel though :(...

Yeah it does, upsetting considering it was $10, I hope it isn't bitesms, or barrel. Those two I enjoy a lot.

You guys do know that it is supposed to scroll EXIT SAFE MODE right? For some reason it doesnt scroll in 4.3.3, but don't think it actually says IT SAFE MODE.

My experience is that it's caused by BiteSMS. A new beta in in process, hopefully an update will come soon.
 
I have BiteSMS on 4.3.2 and experience zero issues with restarting in safe mode (aside from other crap I install/delete frequently)

My money is on either Barrel or 3D Board
 
am giving 3dboard a few days...will report back.
if not that, will check barrel next.

sure it's easy to exit safe mode, but (for me at least), i have to reset my icon positions TWICE in springtomize (so 2 more resprings) AFTER respringing from safe mode... :(

I've had the same experience with BiteSMS as well. I'll use quick reply and then it looks like it's respringing and it says IT Safe Mode.

I only have BiteSMS, MyWi, and SBS Settings
 
I'm having the same issue. Additionally biteSMS keeps re-notifying me of old texts, I can't tell if this is a biteSMS issue or a SMS GV Extension issue.

This is happening to me also. i notice a lot of times when i end a call and old message will pop up and the it will respring in IT SAFE MODE. sometimes its just random though.

I have 4.3.3 jb, and it does say it safe mode.

And along with most of you it will also go into safe mode when I receive an old text and close out of it.


Any eta on the bitesms update??
 
I was forced out of a 4.2.1 jailbreak which I loved.

Kept crashing. BiteSMS was the one program I did
not even try uninstalling.

Today I upgradeed to and jailbroke 4.3.3

I will stay away from BiteSMS for now.

The E and the X are cut off, killer. See? It's supposed to scroll like I said. It does not scroll on 4.3.3, so it stays at it Safe Mode. The E and X are cut off due to the lack of scrolling.

4.3.3 is my first jailbreak, so you lost me at E and X

I know youre messing with me now. Youre messing with me right? Thats pretty good man, thats funny.


Just in case:

The word is EXIT. EXIT safe mode. The E and X in the word EXIT are cut off on 4.3.3 because it doesnt scroll left and right. That leaves IT SAFE MODE. Instead of EXIT SAFE MODE.
 
To throw a bit more information out there, I'm still on 4.3.2 (didn't see the need to update to 4.3.3) and I'm having the problem on that.
