(in short, $infuliph0ne repo was the RED ALL OVER offender, after removing it (not in cydia, would not let me into edit sources) + reboot + re-enter the source = problem free now.

Well sadly I must say that removing barrel has solved all my crash issues. This is the only one I removed.
wondering about that; am in my 3rd day with only 3DBoard off (barrel still on), and no crashes..
too soon to tell?

I don't have 3Dboard so I know that wasn't issue. One of my problems was easy to test. Listening to pandora I get a call about 10-15 seconds the phone crashes and I have to wait for it to respring. pretty easy to test that. No other crashies so far.
probably just a random thing, but...have had no 'crashes' to safe boot since i switched off '3Dboard' (a week, the longest i've gone without such a crash).
...which makes little sense, considering few people here have that app running, but are having the same issues (seemingly bitesms).

im on 4.3.3 and im 100% sure bite sms crashes my phone. after receiving a call bitesms pops up a notification window of my most recent sms which i already "read" and if I close it then my phone crashes

funny. what's your point? computers crash sometimes, iphones can crash.
safe mode every now & then is a small price to pay for all the great things jailbreaking offers...

This may be a long shot, but I have seen with other people, pirated apps downloaded and installed via Installious bring lots of problems, from safe mode issues to phone reboots.
Android is starting to have issues with apps off of official stores having malware, and it is only a matter of time before the bad guys decide to attach malicious payloads to pirated apps.

for me...nothing pirated on my phone. and, never uninstalled barrel (for instance), so not that here. i turned 3dboard back on after a week of no crashes.
AND i installed the newest bitesms beta. a week: longest i've gone without winding up in safe mode, so...not sure where the issue is (or was).
if i crash again, will report back. otherwise, back to life...
