Here in Italy, I'm happily surprised by the pricing this year. Last year, iPhone Pro Max 512GB: €1.879. This year, iPhone Pro Max 512GB: €1.739.

It's a -7.45% decrease, mainly Fx rate driven.

EUR/USD fx rate:
19th Sep22: 0.9973
1st Sep23: 0.9263 is -7.12% in the same time bracket.

Believe it’s the same in the UK the pro saw a £50 decrease while the pro max had a £100 decrease compared to what the 14 counterparts were

You have to look at the average over a 12 month period, not just spot exchange. The EUR/USD slope in 2022 was negative. Today it’s positive.

A. very rarely decreases products price during the year, usually they drop prices just when the new iteration of the same device is out.
I've taken Sep22 and Sep23 as these were the last 2 iPhone generations announcement months.

Yes, this seems to happen periodically. We can say that the price of 14 falls too quickly during the year.

Yes, the iPhone 15 Pro is £832.50 ($1010) minus VAT, so the UK/US price now has parity.
