Has anyone heard whats happening here in Australia with the Music store. I heard that we were very vey close to a start but Apple pulled all the advertising at the last minute because of one record label.

I hope its soon.

Well it really can't be all that far off now. At last check, the store's up and running but iTunes won't let you in because a certain record company hasn't said 'aye' yet. 🙁

You would think with the sales figures that Steve Jobs gave out at the last Keynote that any record company would want to be part of that.

There may be greater powers at work.

I imagine the record companies are interested in profits, not overall sales.

I don't think so... But I might be wrong, they seem to sponge off us for everything else. 😉
