ITMS Results Showing up on Google

    I was just messing around on Google and typed in "Yellowcard" for information about this band and sure enough the 5th result is the ITMS link to the band. It's just sad more information isn't displayed on google. Comments?

    edit: Just trying a few more, Hoobastank works. I bet most of the bands, if not all are on Google, it's just a question where the Google algorithm places them in the results.

    That kind of cross-referencing is definitely cool. Basically, if you click the link, iTunes will try to open up that page in the music store. What would be smart on Apple's part would be to point a user toward the iTunes homepage if the user didn't have iTunes. That way, Apple would get traffic from people who are just looking for bands, instead of people who are looking for mp3 software or legal music downloads or whatever.
