If I have used Blackra1n on a mac to jailbreak my iTouch can I jailbreak after reboot on a windows machines? All It does is hang when I attempt on a windows machine. As soon as I run Blackra1n on the mac the iTouch is fine.

Thanks

I did that and the same issues. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate..

Yes it is. When iTunes detects it wants to restore it? I then run Blackra1n on my Mac and it's back to normal with the jail break. If I do the same operation on my Windows machines it just hangs. On the Mac it takes 20 seconds to get it up and running again after power off or reboot

I know iTunes on a Windows PC won't recognize a Mac-formatted iPod. Does anyone know for sure if that's also the case with blackra1n? I thought the PC would at least recognize that an iPod was connected, even if it can't read/write it, but does blackra1n work on a low enough level to not be subject to this restriction? If not, that would explain the problem.
