Hey guys! Look what I have got! It works on a regular iPhone 3G! The apps name is Batt Sat

Its not in the status bar but hey, its cool!

Should I post to the App Store?

You made an app that tells you exactly what the status bar and the cord running into the bottom of your phone indicate? Why launch an app to know if my phone is charging? If its plugged in, its charging. For percentage, I look at the status bar. Its not numerical, but being as that graphic is a representation of the same data your app pulls, I just don't see the point. But thats just me.

Apple would kindly deny it, LOL! DUH! There must have been a reason why they didn't want it on the 3G version. But you can always edit your plist on the 3G to enable it though.

This doesn't put it in the title bar. You need to run an app, and it tells you the percentage. Thats it.

Probably not, becuase if I remember correctly the battery API is public in the 3.0 SDK, but in the 2.0 it's a private API so if this a 3.0 app it should be fine.

you should put in a secret menu that can only be found by scrolling to the bottom a certain number of times which brings a new menu to enable the percentage on the status bar.

then i think your app would be top seller. ofcourse you wouldnt advertise that part

An app that I would love...

A profile selector.

I press a car icon, and wifi shuts off, bluetooth turns on, 3G turns off etc.

I press a home icon, all that turns on.

Work icon, something different happens.

Blackberry had profiles? Am I the only one that would love this?
