Am I missing something? This app just tells you if you have your phone plugged in and the battery %? Why not download FreeMemory? It tells you the battery % remaining, memory available, and also all the processes that are running. Also, if you go below 20% of available memory it will free up some of the processes. I'm just lost as to what the purpose is?

You know boss preffs turns on the percentage for the battery now

Hopefully not too off topic.

An app that I would love...

A profile selector.

I press a car icon, and wifi shuts off, bluetooth turns on, 3G turns off etc.

I press a home icon, all that turns on.

Work icon, something different happens.

Blackberry had profiles? Am I the only one that would love this?

Developers (Including myself) are not allowed to access these features, thus making it impossible for an app to be made like this without jailbreaking.

You actually charge for something that is already available in the iPhone's .plist? I'll pass, like I need it.

This is just like how Apple did 3GS features where the features can be on the 3G long ago, and I understand that this is marketing.

Include an easter egg to modify the .plist to show it in the menu like the 3GS, and you got my money.

They do it with the emoji apps so it should work.

HAHAHHAHAHA I just realized this. This is a FREE, and I repeat FREE sample APP given by Apple to developers. There are other, free battery monitors that do the exact same thing, the only difference is... you changed absolutely nothing from the sample code, yet you are charging 99 cents. I'm surprised Apple accepted this, but if anyone really wants this. I suggest you find a friend to submit this on their account for free. Its a free download from Apple for anyone.
:apple:

Wow...

I registered just to post this.

I have had this App installed since before 3.0 was released and the developers were using BETA 1 of 3.0 on their apps. This guy is completely ripping people off, not a single piece of this software was written by him and he purposefully tried to deceive everyone. How this got past the Apple app review team I have no idea.

I just wrote this on the last post

How does this app work, I turn it on to see the percentage, I get the percentage. I close the app, but when I open the app again, I have to turn it on again to see the percentage. It seem the settings doesn't stick when you quit the app.

This app is just as bad as MyBattery Life. A warning to all, do not get these Battery apps. Just my 2 cents.

If anyone actually wants an app to do this, let me know and I will submit a free one to the app store. It's about 2 lines of code and this joker is charging $1 for it, haha. If you want, I can also give you the code for how to do it yourself.

I want....I want....we want....we want. Lol

He is just another wannabe developers (or maybe not) that is trying to earn a big sum in his monthly paycheck by Apple, seriously try to learn.

Got to say this is a complete rip off - as others have said, this is sample code provided by Apple as part of the SDK. This isn't similar to the sample, it is exactly the same

I've attached a screenshot of the sample app running in the simulator on my machine.

I don't know if it's legal to rip sample code off to this extent, but it sure as hell ain't ethical...

Edit
I notice that on the "final release" he's changed the label "Monitoring" to "Battery Percentage" (the original attached screenshot he posted still has Monitoring). Wow, I bet that took some serious programming to do that....

Reported via iTunes. Wonder how smug he'll feel with Apple Legal on his ass?

Wow. Does the OP/"developer" realize what he's doing is illegal?

I just submitted a free version of this to the App Store. Hopefully the app will be approved soon.

Don't waste your money on an app that Apple provides to developers for free.
