Well since GMs are usually released at the event, you'd have misses the announcement of the event.....
Hope it soon hopefully it gets released. Can't imagine it'll be that much different from the 3GS or iPhone 4 personally.

Wrong. iOS 3's GM came out June 8, 2009 the same day as the WWDC Keynote for the iPhone 3GS.
iOS 2 didn't have a GM, but it's 7th Beta was released at WWDC in 2008 with a beta 8 coming out between then and iOS 2's official release.

Haha, awesome show. I have a feeling it will be released around the first week of October. My assumption does go in line with the latest rumors of Oct 7 so I'm quite certain it will be around then only.
