    maybe they are getting them at a subsidized price from accounts that are eligibly upgradeable and selling them?

    I think last week ebay said people weren't allowed to list any more 3g iPhones because of the fact that we will need to do in store activitation, therefore the bidder is not guaranteed to get anything......

    I agree i doubt Apple or AT&T stores will let people just walk in on July 11th and buy multiple iphones without some sort of contract or commitment to a contract, i think some Ebay buyers will be disappointed.

    To the morons bidding on eby. Why do you think that you can not just walk into a store and buy one on launch day, or the day after?

    well for ebay that is a quite benign scam. you really have to be naive, stupid and greedy and out of control and gadget addicted to fall for that.
