Also, if it is the on-device AI, how does Apple making changes on their end affect anything?Forget it being down. I’m interested in the changes made behind the scenes. Wish we could know… 😩

😂 I only realized due to the posts popping up in the forumsThe question is… does anyone miss it?
Only the cool new animation 🤣The question is… does anyone miss it?
I use it almost everyday. It is perfectly fine for everyday use as it improves over time. Try using it instead of parroting the negatives spouted by the ‘never satisfied’ crowd.Has Apple Intelligence ever been up?

I frankly didn’t notice it and I’m running the beta in my M2 iPad Pro and iPhone 16 Pro max. Guess that says how much I use it.The question is… does anyone miss it?
They’ve always done so. But if something doesn’t interest you, you can always scroll to the next article you know. Are we now covering bugs in developer beta releases?
That’s an entire new stream of articles coming our way this summer.
Because there's local on device models that run more personal information. It's a privacy enhancing feature. (Last years WWDC will explain it in detail if you're interested). If Apple Intelligence needs to connect to Apple's servers, why does it need an M1+ processor to work?
My phone is too "dumb" to run Apple Intelligence (13 Pro Max). My wife's is a 16 Pro Max. Her results differ from yours.I use it almost everyday. It is perfectly fine for everyday use as it improves over time. Try using it instead of parroting the negatives spouted by the ‘never satisfied’ crowd.
Mine was stuck in a downloading loop. I waited for hours with no change to its status. It sounds strange that something like this would happen in a local AI model. Either they downloaded non-functional models, or this doesn't make sense. If I have my model downloaded, it should work even if Apple's servers are down or undergoing maintenance.
Last year wwdc taught us a lot, we should definitely all rewatch it 🤣🤣🤣Because there's local on device models that run more personal information. It's a privacy enhancing feature. (Last years WWDC will explain it in detail if you're interested).
