Years of experience, many models later, I've learned that Apple simply builds warm to hot running laptops. Period.

you might want to get your air fixed the fans on my 2015 have never came on and i Stream movies listen to Spotify while typing papers haven’t even felt my air get above room temperature granted I do not photo edit or anything just multiple tabs and maybe a 3d flash game but still haven’t felt any heat on my MBA and I’m usually laying in bed with it on top of a quilt

I have 2014 11 inch model Macbook Air and I have the same experience... In normal usage (safari, word, reading PDFs) the CPU never goes above ~65 and I hardly ever here the fans except for when doing big OS updates... and the case is always cool to the touch... The Airs and my rMBP (2014) really do run cool these days...
