Miami stores no longer available for pick up on launch day. I got my order in 5 mins in. Pick up FEB 2.
Same - no more store pickups.

Delivery is now 1 month later.

Glad I ordered mine 1/19 at 5am!

24 hours later now says:

Checked again just now, delivery still showing March 4th-11th (no change in the last 24 hours), and wide availability in Apple Stores across the US with dates as early as February 3rd.

Seems Apple don't have a supply problem with the Vision Pro.

Stores in Southern California has run out!

No more in store pickup appointments.

Delivery only.

Still pickup in Freehold NJ store on Feb3rd. Even seeing appoint slots opening up earlier. Possibly some cancelling IDK?

The 512GB model is not quite sold out yet here in Northern California as of this writing. You can still get it in quite a few stores not too far from launch day.

I'm still seeing February delivery and in-store dates in the Los Angeles area (looking at the 500-gig one).

I still see plenty of first week February in-store pick up dates in the Boston area. Looking at 512 model. 256 seem to be sold out.

Agree - the 512 and 1TB seem to be available for store pickups in So Cal stores.
256 are sold out everywhere (8 stores) near me.

Delivery is 5 weeks so further deliveries seems to originate from China ?

My order went to “preparing to ship” today. I think usually that’s when Apple delivers it to the shipper. If so, that would suggest these are coming from China vs. already being here.

I felt like I was a target when I was leaving the Apple Store at Victoria Gardens in Rancho when the Studio Mac and Studio Display came out on launch day.

Those were bigger boxes...

Back in the old days in NYC, when I bought Apple's 30" Cinema Display and Mac, I took it home in a cab.

When I got to my building, some guy offered to help me bring it in. I begged off. I doubt he was just trying to be helpful.

Delivery dates are now moving backwards.

Last time I checked, it was showing as March 4th to 11th for delivery. Just checked again today, and it's now showing Feb 28th to March 6th.

Very encouraging for a swifter global rollout.

I suspect many that had planned to resell trying to scalp are finding there is just not a market. Just look at eBay with all the auctions and no bidders. Likely cancellations.

Apple did a restock a couple of days ago. They announced it would go into play around 3PM Eastern.

A lot of stores weren’t showing Day 1 availability, now most are.

If you need store pickup (i.e. delivery before March), just keep trying - I scored a store pickup after a few days of "no store pickups available" in SF. People cancel, new inventory frees up, etc.

This is a first gen device that costs more than most people pay for a MacBook, had a limited quantity supply run at launch, and will have a very thin app store on day 1. We don't really need to be reading any tea leaves yet when it comes to demand and sell outs.

In 3 years, if this platform is not accelerating and becoming miniaturized and more "wearable" outside the house, not to mention more affordable, then we can probably start talking about what stock numbers do/do not mean.

You do know that based on past deliveries that some packages will get bumped up as launch day approaches ?

I have seen later ordered iPhones get bumped up few days before launch day and have it delivered on launch day, much to the surprise of the buyer.

Once I had pre-ordered the M1 Mini week before launch day and the delivery estimates kept changing. Finally on launch day, mine was delivered not from China, but a local Apple warehouse in Rialto, CA via Fed-Ex ground. Surprised me as I figured I wouldn't get one on launch day...

Yep. All of these dates are estimates until it leaves the warehouse so there is always a chance it will change again. For me, when I get an email with updated shipping information the update is usually fairly accurate.

I’m open to being pleasantly surprised though :)
