T-Mobile would be fine if they even dropped out of the USA completely. Have no idea how big Sprint are and what other countries they cover though.

I'm no fan of sprint, but it appears as a business entity they have turned things around. Yeah they're not quite there yet but each quarter their results have improved.

Yeah, and they have the iPhone in many other European countries such as Germany and the Czech Republic where I think they might be the most popular network. From what Wikipedia says even without the USA T-Mobile would be bigger (in terms of customers) than both AT&T and Verizon.
 
You act like this is a good thing.

The phone market needs competition, whether it be for phones or carriers. I love my iPhone, but I'm not sure how much I will like it when there are only two major carriers in the US and they are capping my bandwidth and blocking services like Netflix.

How does having poorly run companies with crappy product offerings going to change it. They are in the the marketplace already and not stopping the capping or blocking.
