basically had the 7 plus and sold it since I've anticipated the 7s plus, I mean 8 plus version coming out.

Oh I'm buying it to use until iPhone X comes out in about 7 weeks , Nov. 3.

Is anyone else doing the same or everyone is just waiting for the X? How about the watch 3, anyone buying that?
 
I have the iPhone 7 Plus which is jailbroken. I was considering to order the iPhone 8 Plus and use it until IPhone X releases but then wondering if an non jailbroken IPhone 8 Plus will be worth using instead of my jailbroken IPhone 7 Plus.

Nothing is so exciting except wireless charging and fast charging.

People still jailbreak? Lol get it man, 8 plus is an upgrade. The bionic chip itself and faster internals and glass body is a fine departure from the aluminum case. Or maybe I'm just nostalgic to the usual S update cycle. Lol. This is definitely a good S update cycle, considering the upgrades.
 
Skipping the pre-order craze this year. Not really interested in anything... was slightly tempted in getting the LTE Watch but that red dot is just terrible. Might wait for the iPhone X but good lord it's expensive!

1. He x is really not that expensive. I mean you will use it for a minimum of 12 months. X will be a bloodbath to get, check
2. The Apple Watch 3 is what the Apple Watch should've been in the first place. Took them 3 iterations to get it right. Lol. So I'm debating if I should get it.
3. I like the red dot in the lite version, check
 
Getting the 8+. Notnsold at all on the X and its not worth it imo. Hopefully this preorder will go smooth tonight.

Bro tell me about it... haha I work at 6am, pulling 11 hours today, have a dinner after work with some people anddddd I got work tomorrow sat.

I'm gonna be a zombie. Oh the joy of preordering new iPhones. Hahaha

I think from all my friends I'm the only one crazy enough to buy the 8 series and get the X as well. I just texted em and looks like everyone is asleep. Haha. On the other hand, I know a few people who will literally do anything for the X. So come October 27, it will be a different story. It's going to be INSANITY.

Yeah I will be sitting here just enjoying it all right here on the forums because I'm not jumping into that madness. Lol. Maybe later in the year I'll get it. I might stay up that night just to see the madness.
 
I just traveled about 8-10 hours (including drive to/from airport and flight). I thought I was going to be on the West Coast to preorder but I'm back on the East Coast. Thank god I don't have work today, although I gotta deal with taking down hurricane shutters and putting everything back outside D: .

Going for a silver 8 Plus btw

First time preordering as well!

If someone gets their pre-order in for the iPhone X almost immediately, it won't be as difficult as some are making it. It depends on shipping dates as well and how much available stock is available at launch.

I know how every iPhone pre-order has been. If somebody gets it in within seconds, it's not to be as difficult as it seems. Shipping dates are another consideration. And of course dates will slip, hence why I stated immediately.

I'm getting the space gray 8+ Cuz I'm reserving the silver for the X

and I'm anticipating that "immediately" will be the first 10 mins, if not sooner. It's going to be a vicious bloodbath! I'm ready luls.

It will be chaotic, no doubt. My suggestion is to make sure someone's billing information and shipping address is up-to-date and have everything pre-selected before checkout.

Compared to the X preorder, this should be a pretty nice walk in the park. I hope, lol.

I'll cross that bridge when I get here haha. For now, I have a good feeling for the 8 series release.
