It's that time of the year, preorder time!

I'm so sad right now, this is the first time in 6 years I am not preordering a new iPhone. Really would love an X but not for 1150. My s8+ I got for 650 will have to hold me over until next year when apple gets more realistic with their pricing.

Good luck everyone you got at least one less competitor this year.

Bruh u know too damn well apple prices their products at a premium price. Lol. Just buy it man. With the rumored X plus edge to edge next year, I doubt it will go down soon. 1149 for 256gb is not bad. Definitely better than 64gb 999
 
First time I won't be preordering something from apple. Thought about selling my 7 plus and getting an 8 plus, since I probably wont get next years version of the X anyway if it has the same design and no Touch ID.

But I should save my money :)

I sold my 7 plus to get the 7s plus, I mean 8 plus lol
 
This is insane. I believe 64gb models will be easier to order since 64gb is really not enough storage really and demand should be low for them.

Honestly, 64gb is a considerate spec bump from the 16gb. For most people that should be suffice.

In my thread about Gruber’s article stating Face ID replacing Touch ID was intentional not some design or manufacturing compromise, you dont read the article at all, or respond to the contents, but instead tell me Touch ID is obsolete and soooo 5s and to simply move on cause thats how tech rolls, but yet... you’re getting the 8?

He's getting the 8 Plus only until the X comes out. Not sure why you wouldn't just hold on to the 7 Plus for a few more months but everyone's going to do their own thing.

I'm going for a 256 GB space grey 8 Plus. Doing IUP. I'm hoping it's a better experience than last year, where I couldn't get a phone at all until Apple opened up more stock.
