Where are you located? Did they have any Plus models available for walk-ins for people that waited in line outside till the store opened for purchase?

It's actually a coworker's phone. We're in Whakatane, NZ, and he bought it from Apple's online store as soon as preorders opened.

They've gone all-out with the black; the phone is black, the buttons are black and even the SIM tray is black!

I am so disappointed that they have not gotten rid of those huge certification marks on the back. Honestly we do not need to see "0682" in huge font size etched on the back.

Yeah, why is they required? What is gained from that? Doesn't look to bad but it's not good.

Phone is still sexy though! So glad they brought true black back. Can't wait to pick mine up tomorrow! :D

That crap is gone in North America.
My 6 (also an NZ model) has it in tiny print so I'm not sure why they've gone with the "EU-style" large print with the NZ 7. I'm not sure what the 6S had here.

Nice, looks sweet, how is it running, super fast?
Still going through setup, restoring backups, etc. It also only has 10.0.0 so needs an update to 10.0.1.

Regulations and certificates. Every iPhone has them except for the US models which are no longer required since last year. Unfortunately, everybody else is stuck with them :(

My 6s doesn't have huge certification marks on it, it's really small. Maybe for international phones its required.

They recently made it legal that this was ok to do, and Apple had at it. (North America only though I believe :()

The phone in matte black does look really nice, I am glad I went for that one. At least the dark colour kind of hides the certificate markings. On my 6s they are very noticeable.
