Every iPhone I've owned has been black or space gray so when I decided to upgrade to the 6s+ I went with gold for a change and I wish I hadn't because I don't like the white bezel! I always keep it in a case anyway so the bezel color is the only thing I ever see, dummy! I'm not losing sleep over it or anything but the next time I upgrade I'll definitely switch back to the black bezel (though I'm on a 2 year upgrade cycle so maybe the 7s will be bezel-free! I know, unlikely, but we can dream!)

Unless someone using his\her phone naked, is it really matter what color is the back side if anyways people using it with case ?

I put a dbrand skin on and love it

I would like to see the iPhone 7s (I say 7s because we all know the "S" cycle is when Apple introduces new colors) in the same blue shade as the 6th generation iPod touch but with a black front. That would look awesome!

Totally would have gone for a true Graphite black iPhone 6 given the chance. Wish they brought it back with the 6s but oh well.
I have gotten the next best thing to fully black by using the black leather Apple case on the space grey phone. Until recently when I switched to product red silicone for the holidays. The black leather has worked for me 14 months and looks as good as day I put it on my 6+ and then moved it to 6s+ two and half months ago.View attachment 606013

While not the same as anodized black, it doesn't chip and is replaceable if need be. It does give you the look. Just and idea for you to try.
Classy! No issues with the case durability? I'm thinking of something simple for my iPhone 6 in Space Gray, I usually have my Life Proof case on during the summer when I'm running around outside between water, rain, bullets, sand, sun, and fun but usually like a more classy look for certain seasons.
Fair enough. I'm the opposite. I tried a 5c and couldn't get used to the slick feel of the plastic. I actually have an iPhone 5 on the way because I missed the smaller form factor and the slate color.
I know how that is. I had a 5c for about 8 months, when I had a chance to get a 6 and trade my 5c to my dad I did. I missed the traditional iPhone feel, I thought the 5c would remind me of the 3G and 3GS days but in the end it felt like a 2nd class iPhone with less support for cases and accessories.

The black leather has worked out quite well. Been in use for 14 months looks like new. Recently picked up the red silicone which also looks great with black face. Feels soft and smooth and both cases add just the right amount of friction to help with one handed operation of the 6s Plus. Highly recommend both cases.

I love my rose gold with white bezel but I'd love to see a true black iPhone again with black bezel. My husband could get it and I could admire his, because I will probably stick with a white front for one more iteration. Though I use a case, I can still see a lot of the phone, so the color of the phone does matter to me.
