seems like every 2 weeks wasn't really the schedule given that beta 4 was released 3 weeks after beta 2 and there's nothing to point to the dev portal being responsible for that somehow.
Exactly. Every beta released so far (excluding beta 1 of course) has been released exactly one month before the previous beta expires. Beta 3 doesn't expire until August 29th and beta 4 came out yesterday, July 29th which is why it likely wasn't scheduled to be released the previous Monday.
But I am participating. Just because you don't agree with what I might be saying doesn't mean that I shouldn't be saying it, right? Otherwise we got a double standard going.

This seems to be a good indicator so far. The concept of it being an "every 2 weeks" thing, or "every 3 weeks" etc. doesn't really work since there has been no such precedent set in previous iOS release cycles.
Doesn't mean they couldn't adopt it this time around, but based on past history I find it to be an unreliable indicator. I won't be surprised if a beta comes out on a day that isn't a Monday at least once before GM.
