Yes. Update to the latest and greatest. You bought the 6, not the 4S

Wait for iOS 9.3 (currently beta 3), it's running better than iOS 8.4.1 for me.
9.2 was a bit slow, but still okay

I would update for the security improvements alone.

I guess depends on what someone might use. For some there are a number of new things that are useful. But overall there are definitely various new things.

A fine sentiment if ever there was one :)
I'd love to do so myself but, well, I'm cheap.

I would suggest to wait for iOS 9.3 or a new public Beta of iOS 9.3 (beta4)

No. Apple charges a $100 upgrade fee so it's definitely not worth it.

May I ask why people keep asking these stupid questions? A one year old smartphone can and should be upgraded to the latest OS. It's like asking if a $8000 Alienware should be upgraded from XP to Windows 7.

If I were to guess, reading too many of the (too many) forum threads lamenting how the latest iOS/OS X update made their month old piece of tech UNBEARBLY, PATHETICALLY, OUTRAGEOUSLY and ATROCIOUSLY slow ;)

9.3 is smooth as ass cheeks on the 5s and up. Loving it on my 6s.

I don't know why people ask if they should upgrade to the latest. You're getting bug fixes, security updates and likely new features. Why wouldnt you?

I swear the "my iphone runs slow on iOS x.x " threads here make people hesitate or second guess if they should upgrade or not. It's frustrating.

8.4.1 is the perfect OS for iPhone 6.There are annoying lags and stutters on iOS 9.2.1 so you may end up getting frustrated like me

I also have an iphone 6 with iOS 8.4.1 and I'm afraid of updates because it only has 1GB of RAM.

EDIT: By the way, I also have an iPad Air runing 8.4.1 and the hardware is almost the same as my iPhone 6 but iOS9 runs poorly on it, so that's why people ask if they should update or not.

my iPhone 6+ runs iOS 9.3 Beta 3 just fine. I'm sure the final release of 9.3 will be even better.

I saw my buddy's iPhone 6 on 9.3 B3. It absolutely had no stutter in Control Center. But my 6S Plus does stutter on 9.3 B3 when it wants to. One instance it is butter smooth. But after few minutes the CC menu will stutter like iOS 9.0

But Apple is working to address these issues. Seems like our noise may have finally reached Apple Campus.
