iPod touch itune not reading it

for w/e reason i was tryin 2 do my sister's ipod touch onto her laptop, she has itunes and the latest version of it but itunes wont read the ipod touch, at 1st it was saying it was a camera and now its not even reading it. it works on my laptop so i was curious wat the problem could b

I am having the same problem, however I haven't gotten it to work on a laptop.
