itune not seeing my phone

All of a sudden itunes up and decided not to recognize my phone anymore, pretty depressing.
Any idea what to do about this ? Is updated to latest version, closed it and restarted computer, no joy. Any option to do with the phone is greyed out.

Uninstalling iTunes does the trick and any Apple related programs and then downloading a fresh copy

Unlock your phone and choose trust your computer on the phone when you connect it to the computer.

There goes my theory. My Snow Leopard machine won't see my 6S+ but it will my 5 both running 9.0.1. I wonder if there is a driver issue.

Ok, so I uninstalled itunes, reinstalled it still no joy.
Rebooted, nothing. Tried using another cord that my son uses for his, nothing. Tried other USB ports, nothing.

Guess the next step is to try it on another computer. This really sucks, I might add it was working just fine on this computer up until a few days ago. Synced no problem, even made a couple purchases.

That worked se thanks, only snafu was step #3 there "select hardware and sound", no such category.

I found the same thing in device manager/portable devices.
