iPod Itune store not loading on my MBP

So this problem just happened within the last couple of days. I cannot get connected to the itune store. I have rebooted the computer and also have quit itunes application. It says cannot find server. It doesnt matter if i am wireless or connected to modem. Any advice, other than re-installing itunes...?
 
apparently after rebooting the modem and router, it connects, but NOT wirelessly. Is this normal? i didnt know you had to have a direct connection to the internet to get into the itune store.
