You can do go with my solution though when a product is incompatible with your hardware, buy a new quad core maxed out G5. as always, i may be wrong, but i doubt it.

WildCowboy Administrator/Editor Staff member Jan 20, 2005 18,662 3,241 Apr 2, 2006 #4 iTunes was available on OS 9.2. I think there were some hacks to get it installed on earlier versions, but they seem to have disappeared. Edit: This should allow you to run it under 8.6.
