iTunes 1.6.3 ok with jailbroken iPhone/iPad?

Any reason not to update to the latest iTunes (10.6.3 just came out) if one has jailbroken devices?

(iPhone 4 CDMA, iPad 3 Verizon, both jailbroken at 5.1.1...and somewhere, an old 1st gen iPod touch, jailbroken at whatever it's still running...)

I haven't read anything official from the people providing the jailbreaks but I've been using it with my jailbroken 4S on 5.1.1 and haven't had any problems so far.
