Check software update.

Edit: apparently not iOS 4.2. At least not yet.

You're kidding me? The double rumor that insisted the delay to 11/6 really tricked people. I guess the original rumor was true. Too bad I can't check right now.

Mine says 4.1 is the current version and Software Update on my Mac says there is nothing to update.

Just 10.1 then?

Anyone confirm 4.2?

Anyone with GM know if it's a new build of 4.2, perhaps with this wifi problem fixed?

Yeah, I jumped the gun on iOS 4.2. I assumed it would be out since the bullet points were all about AirPlay on ATV2 and allowing iOS 4.2 to be installed. Hopefully later today. :)

Maybe someone should change the title of this thread...at least for now. Especially if 4.2 isn't coming out until next week, as claimed.

Edit. Well done. Someone did it as I was typing.

Stupid pepole should be more clear abought this before you just post on here that there is a upgrade.

What's new in iTunes 10.1?

From software update:

What's new in iTunes 10.1

• Use AirPlay to instantly and wirelessly stream videos from iTunes to the all-new Apple TV.

• Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 4.2.

• Provides a number of important stability and performance improvements.

Anyone know how to update from the 10.1beta to offical release??

I started a thread on this in the MAC APPLICATIONS page. What I was told over there is that you must download the new itunes from apple.com as if you were a new user... installer will take care of the rest...

you will NOT see the new version of iTunes by checking for the software update through iTunes... I will try it as soon as I get home from work (in 2 hours)..

I hated the 10.1 beta! so buggy!!!! but i couldnt wait to get the iOS 4.2 GM so I had to get the itunes beta.. glad the final release is out!!!

iTunes 10.1 on Windows 7 definitely removed the "Enable Airprint" checkbox in Preferences :-( which is what I used to Airprint to a shared printer on Windows.
