iTunes 10.4 update wiped my Gen1 AppleTV clean...sad face

Via software update got iTunes 10.4 last night, did the update.
I'm still at OsX 10.6.8

Woke up this morning, tried to use our AppleTV, all the content I had sync is GONE 🙁 😡

Too many hours needed to re-sync......will do as we sleep....

Same issue with me but worse

My issue was very similar. My content was completely gone as well. The only option I had was to do an automatic sync. The custom sync would ALWAYS crash my AppleTV 1st Gen. I could not stop the automatic sync and try to switch to custom synch. I did an automatic synch, scared to try the custom synch again since it took 36 hours to do it all over again.

Any help or tips from other folks?
