So our old hard drive crashed.
We have like, zero money. So, we got another crappy hard drive for our crappy computer. That means bye-bye my iTunes.
Well, I'm getting a replacement iPod. Hopefully tomorrow. Because something's wrong with this one. Well, I have nothing backed up. So I kind of need to to that and I haven't gotten iTunes on this computer yet.
So, I tried downloading 10.5 on a Windows XP computer, and yes, everything is compatible. But, when I get to the point where I save everything and then click, "Run" file, it says, "Preparing installation," and then everytime I get a message from Windows Installer saying that It couldn't download because it wasn't installed properly and that I needed to contact the peoples from Windows Installer.
Um, it's not working. It's just NOT letting me do anything.
I have no Apple software on here except for broken files that won't load onto the computer and I'm cleaning those off and re-installing those as fast as possible.

So, what do I do?
Please. Someone help me.
If I don't get this done TODAY I won't get another chance to take my iPod to the Apple store for a week.

What do I need to do to get iTunes on here?!

Also sorry if this is in the wrong section, I didn't see any "iTunes" section. Pardon my stupidity.
