hi all,
just opened iTunes 10.5b9 and this popped up:

screenshot20111010at220.png

expiring on Saturday October 15th.
im presuming this is when the final release along with iPhone 4S will come out.
am i the only one seeing this?

The final version will more likely show up on Wed alongside iOS 5. I'd think it's necessary, if I remember correctly? They usually leave some overlapping timeframe so devs don't get left without a valid version if they run a little late with the final product.

I got the same thing. 10.5 GM will be released before the betas expire. Nothing to worry about.

...except when I try to update iTunes it says 10.5 is the latest version.

I guess the solution is to download iTunes 10.5 from apple and not try to "upgrade" from within iTunes.

Correct; you have to download the release version from Apple.
