iTunes 11.1 beta 2 for Mac

I have iTunes beta on my MacBook; I was just wondering will I get an update to go the final or will I need to download the final from apples website?
 
I was wondering the same thing myself. When going from a iTunes Beta to release, can we just update or need to re-install.
 
Its a whole install, no update.

BUT!

I installed it and now iTunes wont open. It just bounces in the dock 2 times and then stops.
I deleted the .plist files from the library. Still wont open.
Piff.
 
Same here...

I too am having problems with iTunes 11.1 beta 2…won't open. Just bounces twice. Any ideas anyone?

Start iTunes while holding the OPTION key.
If you did it correctly it will ask you to either select your iTunes Library or Create a new Library.
Try creating a new Library to see if you can bypass your problem. You can always import your media from your original library later.

Is iTunes 11.1 coming up tonight (after midnight)?
