itunes 11.1 (beta) question

So i downloaded iOS 7 GM and i also downloaded iTunes 11.1 (beta) Is it suppose to be a whole separate iTunes? it is asking me to install iTunes. Wont i have 2 then?

It installs on top of the current version.

You can download it directly from Apple and install it. It will then install on top of the beta version and you will be up to date and good to go.
