Not for me... It's worst actually... I had to make an iCloud restore and since then, no music wants to stay in my 5s (else than my purchased songs).
Tried to unchecked "Sync music" in iTunes and syncing again, playlist per playlist or one genre at a time, with no luck.:mad::mad:

Never had an issue since I performed the above procedure on all of my devices.

While not having an issue right now syncing automatically through my playlists I made I would like to go back to manually managing my music like I did in iOS 6 flawlessly. Do think this will work, or do you recommend just sticking with what I know for sure will get the job done.
I haven't had any issues since 7.1b4. Everything seems to be back to reliably normal like with iOS6/iTunes 10.

That's with your fix done? And do you have to delete these files more than once?

Yeah. Once the database were reset, 7.1 and iTunes 11.1.5 hasn't caused any further issues. And this was over a month ago now. My library has got 60K+ songs, and this caused me no end of grief.

Make sure you try the File -> Device -> "Transfer purchases from [device]" first. Then follow steps.

I must say I haven't done your trick so far and have been syncing flawlessly since iOS 7.1. I wonder if they fixed it.

Were you having the syncing problem like everyone else prior to the 7.1 update?

Prior to iOS 7 I would sync my music manually because my iPhone music library was different then my iTunes library. When iOS 7 arrived I would be getting the explanation mark, and the ghosting when I tried to add new music so I had to make a playlist with my whole iPhone library and sync that automatically.

Finally!

Finally I was able to do a normal sync without making playlist or any special fixes. I only had to grant "trust" on my phone for my MBP. I was expecting the worst but it was completely painless. iPhone 5S with iOS 7.1. Thanks for everyone's input.

That's excellent to hear! I really think 7.1 has resolved the issue.

Not Syncing music fixed !!!

I took someone else's advice and just disconnected my phone off iTunes,
powered the iphone off, waited a minute, powered it back up and then connected to
iTunes once again. It immediately began to sync of my music !!!
Thanks to whoever suggested this!

Here's My Experience, When I Would purchase songs from iTunes on my iPhone or my computer they wouldn't sync or if it was purchased on my phone it would disappear after transferring but on my iPod Touch 4G All my purchases synced so it's definitely iOS 7.1.2 but what brenm666 said was i believe was a good notice that when synced with a lot of other songs syncing the purchase would sync because after every time i'd restore my phone then restore from backup the songs that wouldn't sync synced sooo... lead on? any ideas guys
