Hi, just updated iTunes and it has a nasty bug for me, I drag a new item into the list (i.e.: a movie) and it does not then appear in the list of movies, drag it in, it imports it and then it disappears and can't be found - anyone else? This appears to relate to movies, home movies and music videos - audio files appear. The files are all added to the library location but they don't then appear in the browser list of movies in iTunes.

have you looked up all categories? i added a file this morning and it got added into home movies so i had to find it there and switch IDTag to TV Show myself (which was expected).

Home movies are appearing OK, but if I drag a new movie into the list of movies in iTunes 12 it imports the actual file but the movie does not show in the list.

Dragged some short videos which i do most weeks into iTunes with no problem so i can home share with my Apple TV, everything worked up until today, now My Library on Apple TV only shows Music & iTunes U and no Home Movies as before.

Yes I noticed that problem in addition to the one I posted. Home Movies are gone from Apple TV. Amazing they can't get such basic's right isn't it, these are huge things not working.

Revision: New movies added are only appearing in Home Movies, they can be found there and then changed to 'movie' and then they show up in the list.

Home movies no longer appear on Apple TV after upgrading to iTunes 12.

I am seeing the same exact problem also. Cannot add video of any kind. Here's hoping that Apple will see fit to issue at least one more Yosemite beta (9) or iTunes 12 update before going GM.

And just as earlier iTunes 12 betas, video meta data editing is extremely limited and buggy (cannot add cover art and year, for instance).
