I started the download of a movie from my purchased movies in iTunes Store, and then clicked on Window up in the iTunes menu bar, meaning to bring up the downloads window so I could keep track of the download. Whoa! No option to show the downloads window in iTunes 12.2 ??

The file is coming down ok, I tested that by starting to watch a little of it after awhile, and then hitting pause, but I have no way of knowiing how much of it is already down and how long to go etc. I have a 3Mbps DSL connection so it's a pain not having a clue, it could take hours in evening prime time.

Why did Apple axe that window in iTunes 12.2 ? Or is the info on an in-progress download shown in some other fashion now? Thanks for any info.

Just a spinning loop in the upper right hand corner by the Search window. Had 11 apps to update on my iPhone after updating iTunes to 12.2 and it took me awhile to notice the spinning loop. But there is no progress bar of any kind that I could find. I looked everywhere with no luck.

Thank you. I restarted the download, then taking your cue I looked up in that corner of iTunes window and there was a little down-pointing arrow up there by the search space, I pressed on it and it showed the name of the film and how many (sigh, MB) of the total (sigh, GB) had come down and approx how long to complete (sigh... 3 hours). No progress bar but this is better than nothing!
