I do have 100,000 songs in library, but still ... I've been trying since 12.2 came out several hours ago.

The reason I want this to work is so that my apple music playlists are on my mac, in addition to my iOS devices.

I have no idea, mine was syncing just fine and all the sudden it stopped and disappeared! Now I can't find any mention of iCloud music library to try and start over again.

Go to preferences (⌘+,) and check the iCloud Music Library. It's really annoying that when it fails, you have to manually restart. Sigh.

Thanks eroxx! I could swear it was under preferences as well, however I still can't find it, I think theres something seriously wrong with my iTunes player. The "For You" and "New" sections aren't showing up either!
Even the artist pages look weird. I think I'll have to re-install... this is frustrating.

I got it working again... weird... It seems Apple music turned itself off, I managed to get it working again my hitting the try now button on the apple music website. I hope this helps anybody else having the same problem. It seems like Apple is having some technical difficulties with the service, maybe thats why its taking for ever to sync.

Seems like Movies and TV Shows in the cloud aren't showing up either now?

I can't get the two to sync up (my Mac and iPhone). I actually lost the bigger playlist off of my phone, but that's Ok. It's worth a few bugs in the long run I guess.

I'm really not sure how to get it back working?

Those who can't get it working, do you have the cloud icon showing up on the My Music tab with a lightning bolt in it? That means iTunes is not able to connect to the service that actually provides all this functionality for sync. It has been this way for me for hours now. Despite the service listed as green on the service status page, it seems like it's down. I can only guess it's horribly overwhelmed, which really sucks because the initial setup of this new feature hosed my library and I have been working to restore it to order and without this service working, no music is available on any of my other devices now.

I thought iTunes Match would be the worst user experience with Apple of all time, but, now I am wrong. That just screwed over a ton of metadata, this entirely blocks my music. And if I can roll it back? I still want Apple Music to work. The proposed functionality is exactly what I've wanted for basically years. So I'm not going to quit now, but, still, it's pretty disappointing that it could be this bad after being so hyped.

Nope, no lightning bolt. My playlists just are not syncing at all...I'm kind of at a stand still from making playlists because I have already lost 2 so i rather wait for this to work out before using it. I'll stick to B1 for now I guess. Let me know if you figure anything out...

I actually find that it syncs perfectly between my iPad and laptop, just not to my iPhone from either device. I can force it by turning off "iCloud Music Library", but I don't want to do this each time. The settings look similar on both devices...thoughts?

I'm having mixed success at this point. Everything mostly works but a set of songs, maybe 50-100 refuse to be uploaded and processed into the cloud library and there seems to be no recourse at all. I have not had issues with playlist sync, but, I can't get a playlist to reliably download onto my phone for offline use.
