Does anyone still have a DMG file for iTunes 4.9? I cannot find it anywhere. I want to install it on some of my PowerPC systems as it is very lightweight, and I like the brushed metal.

Thanks, 4.8 should do. I forget which version it was that got rid of the "This computer is not authorized to play" message on songs, I thought it was 4.9
I would have imagined that message has been around as long as there has been a music store in iTunes. I might have even older versions.

After installing a ton of versions on Windows in a VM, I found out the version 5 was the first one without that message. Now only movies bought from the iTunes Store will bring up this message.

I might have iTunes 5 somewhere. Let me know if you want it.

Alas, I don't have iTunes 5. It must not have been around for long. I do have iTunes 6.
iTunes 5 was only around for 1 month, between the introduction of the iPod nano and the iPod video (5th gen classic) I don't think a whole lot changed, though. I already have iTunes 6, I've ripped it from some Intel Tiger discs and iLife 06. Thanks though
