iTunes 4k movies on MacBook Pro?

Oddly enough I can't find an answer to this anywhere which may indicate it's a stupid question. Can you play 4k iTunes movies on the 2016 or 2017 15" MacBook pro?

While we're on the subject....can it stream 4k netflix?

you can stream it, but the resolution is not 4K.

Only Windows can watch Netflix in 4K.
