iTunes 8 License Agreement - FAIL

    Might I highlight Section 8;

    "Licensee also agrees that the Licensee will not use the Apple Software for any purposes prohibited by United States law, including, without limitation, the development, design, manufacture or production of nuclear, missiles, or chemical or biological weapons."

    I can sort of understand this but WHAT?!

    No need to get your knickers in a twist. I've just come across it and thought I'd share. Don't forget there are ALOT of new members here and might not know either..

    I doubt the developers wrote the license agreement.

    This is the standard disclaimer in all Apple Software. There is actually a similar disclaimer in the M$ software licenses, which is why most scientific groups use UNIX, Linux, or proprietary.

    That is a crazy thing to have buried in your SLA.
    I wish I had 9 days to actually read through it. :rolleyes:
