iTunes 8 Will Not Connect to the Store

    I recently installed iTunes 8 on my computer and the store was working great for a few days, now I get a network time out whenever I try connecting. I wasn't sure if it was something on my colleges network (which would be counter intuitive to the whole legit music downloading campaign) or is there something that I can try on my Mac to see if it will work? Thanks in advance.
