Gah! Plymouth
Ok so I made my first video purchases with the new iTunes 9.2 and well I get no audio and the video is greyed out.

Similar to what iTunes had when rentals first came out.

I tried the suggestions in the link below

http://appletoolbox.com/2010/06/itunes-9-2-gray-screen-when-trying-to-watch-videos/

But neither worked.

I have also:
Reinstalled Itunes 9.2
Reinstalled Quicktime
Installed Perian

The videos play fine on my iPhone however, but do not work on the computer bought or when home sharing it to my other computer.

Videos also don't work in Quicktime which i think is to be expected

Anyone got any suggestions?

Well incase anyone is curious here is what i got from apple

I certainly understand your frustration with this, since I am an iTunes user as well. I can see that you are getting a grey screen while playing your downloads.

Unfortunately, this has been an issue and Apple is currently working toward a resolution for this. I will keep you updated regularly, and you will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available.

Thank you for your patience. Apple wants your iTunes experience to be as enjoyable as possible.

Again ______, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and I can certainly understand your frustration.

The solution is to request they give you permission to re-download all the episodes that show the grey window. The issue was some videos (around the time iTunes 9.2 was released) had faulty DRM encoding for about a period of 10 days. This affected TV shows, including series passes, and Movie purchases and rentals.

I'm in the same boat I bought season 1 of Justified and can't watch on my computer. Not a happy camper. Just get grey screen

Just put in a ticket with iTunes and they should be able to help you. They got back to me a week agoish and allowed me to redownload.
