itunes 9 and iphonebrowser problems

Not sure if the two are linked but I have a 2g iphone and since upgrading to itunes9 Iphonebrowser and iphoneexplorer crash when I plug my phone in. Am I the only person having this happen?

You are not the only one...I have the same problem as with others that have been reported on other forums. IT9 seems to break 3rd party USB connections. IT9 must be overwriting one of the files for connecting via USB. BTW, I am running WIN 7.
I went back to iTunes 8.2, but you will lose your playlists and such...IT9 overwrites this file (iTunes Library.itl and possibly others located in your C:\Users\*YOUR USERNAME*\Music\iTunes) and CAN NOT be read by 8.2 after upgrading...

Same here. I have to remember to backup my playlist when updating itunes.

Same here, but Diskaid is working (at least for Windows, I used it at work earlier and it worked fine). It has a 14 day trial, which is what I used 🙂

I Just had this issue on XP pro.

I uninstalled iphonebrowser completely then re-installed with latest version.
Works fine now 😎
